Aaron Matthew Moorehead, an American football coach, and former player, was born on November 5, 1980. He currently serves as the wide receivers coach for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). Prior to that, he worked as an assistant coach at Stanford University, the University of New Mexico, Texas A&M University, Virginia Tech, Vanderbilt University, and Texas A&M.
Wide receiver Moorehead played collegiate football for Illinois before signing as an undrafted free agent with the Indianapolis Colts in 2003. Moorehead spent his whole five-year career with the Colts from 2003 to 2007, and he was a part of the group that defeated the Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XLI.
Aaron went to South Park Elementary in District 109. Later, he went to Alan B. Shepard Jr. High, which is also in district 109. Moorehead was a football and track standout at Deerfield High School in Deerfield, Illinois. In his senior year, he competed in the 110m High Hurdles and finished fourth. His personal best time was 14.06 seconds.
During his career, Moorehead caught 31 passes for 330 yards and one touchdown. Moorehead had 5 catches for 41 yards in the 2006 postseason.
