After breaking into the Australian under-19 team in 2009, Zampa secured a rookie deal with the Blues in 2010. He also participated in Australia’s successful Under-19 Cricket World Cup campaign in 2010.
Zampa participated in two youth Test matches and eight youth ODIs, participating in both formats and taking 11 wickets. In this way, a cricket icon was born.
