Music has always been in her blood, as her father was one of the founders of the contemporary Christian music genre.
In her early 20s, the songwriter moved to Nashville, Tennessee, and signed a record deal.
She was the one who helped form the group Zoe Girl. They wrote the music and recorded albums for seven years and toured all around the countries with great brands.

When he was a young teenager, he moved to Santa Rose, California, where he joined a band named Castells alongside other male vocal quartets.
During his time in the band, they released singles like Make Belief Wedding, Scared, and So This Is Love.
Later, he joined the surf-rock band The Hondells, where he released his singles, Little Honda, My Buddy Seat, and Younger Girl.
In his twenties, he started looking for god as his group experimented with drugs.
In 1970, he ended his search while he became one of the members who discovered the first Christian rock band, ‘Love song,’ popular in the USA. But in 1975, Girard left his band and became a solo artist.
Songs like ‘Sometime alleluia’ And ‘Rock ‘N’ Roll preacher’ were written and performed by the singer and were featured in his debut album.
He traveled to various countries, including the US, Indonesia, Australia, and Europe, for concert and solo performances.
At last, he chose god over his fame, and in 1981, he focused all concentration on Jesus. Instead of singing at concerts, he started glorifying Jesus in church.
In 2022, his band played in the movie. He spent the day on the set of the Jesus Revolution movie.
He said it felt amazing to see the recreation of the beach baptism scenes and to meet the cast and crew.

Alisa Childers was born into a Christian family in Pacoima, California. Her parents, Karena and Chunk, have modeled her into genuine Christianity and faith in Jesus.
She was raised with her three siblings in the urbanized valley of San Fernando.
The singer believed in Jesus from the day she recognized him. From an early age, she started reading the bible and developed true faith in god.

The entire family felt shocked at that time while grieving his demise. As believers of christ, her family mourned in peace as they knew he was in the arms of his savior.
She Is Married To A Drummer
Alisa Childers married drummer, Mike, of her band Zoegirl. After their group disbanded, the couple was gifted with their first child on October 9, 2008.
After three years, they had their second child.
Their oldest daughter Mychael married her husband, Hamilton. They even had their first child, Beau, on October 2021.
Their oldest son Wyatt works full-time and lives his life. Their younger son Ayden says his brother is his hero. He is currently 11, and he loves video games and reading books.
The pair’s old daughter Dyllan loved to play cosplay, drawing, and video games. She is also a stand-up comedian.
Husband Mike Childers
The tour manager was a rehabilitated drummer for nearly 30 years. He worked with renowned artists during his career line and felt honored to play for them.
He played both Christian and country music. He felt grateful to work as the music director for various artists.
He worked with his brother Mark in Carrie Underwood. He used to play drum over there and even worked on projects for ACM Awards, CMA Awards, and American Idol projects.
Previously, the tour manager used to play drums for the bands like 4Him, Point of Grace, Twila Paris, Avalon, Anointed, Nichole Nordeman, Clay Crosse, and more.
Before the mobile, laptops, and google era, he began tour managing. As a result, he has traveled to various destinations throughout his career.
He has toured in over 20 countries, including 50 states. After all these years, the drummer said he loved to spend time with his guys on the bus and performed on great shows.
He started his tour management business ten years after working as a professional drummer.
In December 2022, he retired from the music business. He wanted to help his partner in her work and joined the author as her booking agent, YouTube producer, and ministry administrator. He even co-teaches his children in a newly established homeschool.
