Andrei Ruskin is recognized as a Russian man who illegally registered an illegal SCP mark in the European Customs Union.
SCP stands for Secure Contain Protect and the SCP Foundation is a fantastic organization, documented by a common web fantasy plan of the same name.
Andrew used the SCP trademark to threaten and sue legitimate sellers of SCP products and is also accused of copyright infringement because his own product completely infringes the SCP Content License: Creative Commons Share-like 3.0.
For a while, the situation was tempered when the base was slowly considering dissolving the illicit Duxin brand through Rospatent, but has now grown.Recently, Duxin has repeatedly attempted to threaten and sue competitors and has begun to threaten the SCP. He used an illegal trademark to close the official social media page of the Russian branch of the SCP Wiki Foundation, as well as a separate fan page. The Foundation has tried to reach an agreement with VK, which refers to social networks, but as long as the registration of the trademark is worth it, it will be respected.
Duxin is now involved in it, making the ridiculous claim that he is the administrator of the Russian wiki and said the wiki was turned into an advertisement for his product, not a written community.
These actions threaten not only the Russian community, but every SCP industry, author and fan around the world. We speak with SCP-RU, reject these threats and file a lawsuit against Duksin for revoking that trademark and preventing further infringements. As a voluntary organization, this is a measure we don’t often do because of the cost.
Last May, when news of Duxin’s actions first came out, they received many suggestions from generous SCP supporters offering to donate a legitimate fund. I didn’t accept anything at that time because I thought the situation could be solved with the help of bureaucracy. With these new developments, this is no longer possible. Therefore, we humbly urge anyone who loves SCP and who has the money to spend to donate to our legitimate fund to protect our global community. We are still finalizing the details of the fundraising and will have a second round of announcements later in the week when the donation page is ready.
