Anita Kyarimpa better known as Anita Fabiola is a Ugandan actress, Beauty queen, and television personality. She is also the brand ambassador for CAT footwear in East and Luc Belaire champagne. Prior to hosting the Be my date show on NTV in 2014, Fabiola became Miss Uganda West and the first runner-up in the overall Miss Uganda beauty pageant in 2013.

At the age of 12, she was a model at the Arapapa modeling agency and she became a magazine model in Flair in 2008. In 2013, Fabiola participated in the Miss Uganda beauty pageant and she was crowned Miss Uganda West and became the First runner first runner-up in the overall Miss Uganda beauty pageant in 2013

Fabiola kick-started her career in television in 2014 by hosting the Be my date show on NTV which aired out every Sunday at 8 pm. In 2014 the show was voted the most-watched entertainment television program in Uganda. In 2015, Fabiola had a short time working as a presenter on Capital FM every Mon-Friday on the Big Breakfast from 6 am to 10 am.

As an actress, Fabiola is best known for her role as Angella Dononso in NTV’s remake of the telenovela drama series, Second Chance that currently airs out every Monday to Friday on the same station. Fabiola also played a supporting role in the 2015 series Studio 256 also on NTV. She also starred in the 2013 Bollywood Malayalam thriller, Escape from Uganda as Oldra.

Fabiola started her journey as a glamor girl at Arapapa modeling agency at the age of 12, she says. In 2013, she scooped the Miss Uganda west crown and an automatic spot in that year’s Miss Uganda pageant. She was also named 1st runner up and Miss Photogenic in that year’s competition.

Due to her established network, Anita got a job at the Serena based NTV, serving as a presenter for ‘Be My Date before her stay was cut short when her private photos leaked to the media following the management’s decision on moral grounds, However, this didn’t seem to dim her shine as after a short time was temporarily recruited at the Kisementi based Capital FM where she served as a sit-in presenter.

Drama as Zari Hassan clashes with Anita Fabiola during Miss Uganda

Drama ensued during the Miss Uganda 2019 as South Africa based Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan clashed with the host of the event and TV presenter Anita Fabiola. The two were on stage and Zari was supposed to announce the top three contestants of Miss Uganda 2019 and as Anita handed it over to her, she used the name ‘Mama’ a name that did not settle well with the Boss lady.

She then gave the names of contestants to Anita Fabiola to announce saying that she was acting like they have a problem, but she refused to say that her job was only to host the event as she apologized for any wrongdoing. Zari then took the microphone and started talking on how women should not be enemies to each another and instead, should uplift one another before the crowd started booing her.

In her defense, Zari said that she could have been joking but people had taken the matter too serious which was not good and she proposed that they both (Zari and Fabiola) announce the winner of the Miss Uganda 2019 beauty pageant.
