Apl.de.ap is a Filipino-American rapper, singer, and record producer best known as a member of the hip-hop group, Black Eyed Peas.

Apl.de.ap came into the world on November 28, 1974, in Sapang Bato, in the Pampanga province of the Philippines.

Allan initially came to the United States at the age of 14 for treatment for nystagmus, an involuntary movement of the eyes, and has since not returned to the Philippines.
