Fans were informed of the news via Sale’s Twitter account “Tim Sale died away today, and it is with great regret that I must inform you of his passing. He died away with the love of his life by his side, and he adores all of you.”
DC Publisher Jim Lee took to Twitter a few days ago to alert fans of Sale’s hospitalization.
