Emily and Alex got engaged a few months before they celebrated their anniversary. In fact, it was the 33-year-old captain’s first ever time of publicly announcing their relationship when she declared on Instagram in January 2021 that she was engaged to “a lovely gentleman.” Emily made her official marriage announcement in May 2021, just a few months after they first met.
After the couple’s relationship became public at the beginning of 2021, Emily published images with Alex on social media and featured him on her YouTube channel. However, she hasn’t revealed much else about him.
