Emily Riedel from Bering Sea Gold has a successful marriage to her husband, Alex Trokey. Alex is a podcaster who hosts the Alaska-based podcast called The Alaska Show.

Emily Riedel rose to prominence after Bering Sea Gold premiered in the year 2012. The viewers got a chance to watch Riedel progress from working as a deckhand on The Clark to becoming the captain of her own vessel, The Eroica.

She appeared on the series as the daughter of Steve Riedel and began her career as a deckhand in the first season. She has appeared in 13 seasons of Bering Sea Gold. 

The series follows miners as they set to use various boats to dig for gold in Nome, Alaska. The main aim is to find gold as rapidly as possible. However, success is never assured due to the hazardous environment.

Alex Trokey has a twin sister named Katie and a younger sister named Emily in his family. Most of his family members reside in the Chicago area. 

Emily is a sales and data analyst at CBS Chicago. She has a demonstrated history of working in the broadcast media industry. At the same time, she is skilled in Microsoft Office, client service, and media research. Moreover, she is a strong sales professional with a Bachelor of Arts, focusing on Economics from Northwestern University. 

Moreover, Emily has also worked as an intern for the Congressman in Washington DC, where she researched, drafted, and edited form and policy letters to constituents on several issues like bill statuses, current and past legislation, and official policy positions.

Emily Riedel met her now-husband, Alex Trokey, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns.

She celebrated the first anniversary of their initial meeting on Instagram in April 2021, revealing that her brother, Paul Riedel, set them up to meet each other for the first time. 

Emily and Alex got engaged a few months before they celebrated their anniversary. In fact, it was the 33-year-old captain’s first ever time of publicly announcing their relationship when she declared on Instagram in January 2021 that she was engaged to “a lovely gentleman.” Emily made her official marriage announcement in May 2021, just a few months after they first met.

After the couple’s relationship became public at the beginning of 2021, Emily published images with Alex on social media and featured him on her YouTube channel. However, she hasn’t revealed much else about him.
