American rapper, Big Pokey’s real net worth at the time of death is not known yet. However, some sources claim that he has an estimated net worth of around $1 million at the time of death.

Considering that he performed at many shows and also charted with several songs. It will be understandable if he was able to rake in such a great amount of wealth.

Big Pokey was reported dead by close sources on Sunday, June 18, 2023. According to them, he died shortly after collapsing on stage while performing on the previous night. He was 45 years old.

“Justice of The Peace Tom Gillam III has confirmed that Houston Rapper Milton Powell, better known as Big Pokey passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital,” CBS affiliate KFDM reported.

He came into the music scene in the early ’90s when he started working actively with DJ Screw. He was featured on Screw’s mixtape June 27th Freestyle which became a landmark album in chopped and screwed hip hop.

Big Pokey released his full-length album dubbed Hardest Pit in the Litter in 1999. His song Who Dat Talkin Down was featured in the pilot episode of HBO’s Entourage in 2004.
