Brooks Raley is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Brooks Lee Raley was born on June 29, 1988, in San Antonio, Texas, United States, to parents Terry and DeeAnna Raley. His elder brother Russell was drafted by the New York Yankees in 2006, later becoming a coach.

Brooks Raley’s younger brother Cory was chosen by the Cleveland Indians in 2012 and played his final season of minor league baseball in 2016. He attended Uvalde High School in Uvalde, Texas, and Texas A&M University, where he played college baseball for the Texas A&M Aggies.

Brooks Raley was selected by the Chicago Cubs selected Raley in the sixth round of the 2009 Major League Baseball draft. The Cubs promoted him to the major leagues for the first time on August 7, 2012.

Brooks Raley has played in MLB for the Cubs, Cincinnati Reds and Houston Astros, and in the KBO League for the Lotte Giants. He signed a two-year, $10 million contract with the Tampa Bay Rays on November 30, 2021.
