Candace Hiltz’s murder case finally saw some hope in 2018 after some crucial evidence was discovered, but the question about who killed her remains a mystery. 

She was a brilliant student who used to do calculus at the age of 11. She dreamt of becoming the Supreme Court Justice. She was also accepted in Standford Law School. 

However, all of those dreams were destroyed when she was brutally murdered at her home. She was shot multiple times with three different guns, wrapped in a green comforter, and shoved beneath a bed when her mother found her dead body.

The incident took place in 2006, but the murderer is still not found. In 2018, Robert Dodd was convicted for abuse of public records and served 18 months of jail and a $5,000 fine. 

However, he was not found guilty of murdering the young girl. 

Wikipedia Does Not Mention Candace Hiltz Murder Case

Candace Hiltz’s murder case is not mentioned on Wikipedia yet. The tragedy has followed the family for years. 

Her brother was announced mentally sick and sent to Colorado Mental Health Institute. Her infant daughter was left behind after the death. She was born with an abnormal accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid. 

Candace’s mother looked after her granddaughter after her daughter’s death. However, she could not survive for many years. In addition, the mother of Candace is still waiting to get justice for her daughter. 

She firmly believes that the officers who were part of the investigation team had something to do with the murder. She says that the investigators missed many pieces of evidence and intentionally tried to erase them. 

Where is Candace Hiltz’s Daughter, Paige Hiltz, Today?

Candace Hiltz’s daughter, Paige Hiltz, is no more in the world today.  She used to live with her grandmother in Cotopaxi after her mother’s death.

She could never see her mother. Unfortunately, Paige also died on Thanksgiving, on November 22, 2021, when she was seven years old. Her cause of death was the result of her severe illness since her childhood.

She was taken to the hospital a day before but could not survive. Her grandmother donated her organs to needy children.
