Carole Baskin Is ‘Surprised’ Media Didn’t Know About Her Claim ‘Dead’ Husband Don Lewis Is Still Alive

After a 2021 television interview reemerged of Carole Baskin guaranteeing her long-disappeared ex, Wear Lewis, was as yet alive, Baskin tells Individuals she’s “shocked” anybody is examining it now. Baskin, 61, a basic entitlements dissident who runs the Big Feline Salvage in Tampa, emphasized her conviction that Lewis was presently in Costa Rica on the English ITV show Toward the beginning of today that very year.

She told Toward the beginning of today she accepted Country Security had been in touch with Lewis: “They said my significant other, Wear Lewis, is perfectly healthy in Costa Rica. But this show has been all made about me having something to do with his vanishing, when Country Security has known where he is.”

Baskin likewise told Today: “When [Tiger Ruler 2 producers] introduced a letter that seems to be from Country Security saying that Wear was perfectly healthy five years after I saw him the last time … I contacted the FBI and said I need a duplicate of that letter.”

“I need to understand what that says since some portion of it was redacted, and I don’t have any idea who individuals included were,” she went on.

Nonetheless, the Hillsborough Province Sheriff’s Office says there’s as yet an open missing-individual examination happening for Lewis, telling the New York Post in a proclamation, “We have not gotten any correspondence from our government accomplices that affirms the area of missing individual Mr. Wear Lewis.”

“The examination concerning Wear Lewis’ vanishing stays a need for the Hillsborough Province Sheriff’s Office, as do all missing individual cases,” the assertion proceeded.

Individuals contacted the Hillsborough Area Sheriff’s Office yet has not heard back.

Baskin rose to overall distinction with the 2020 debut of Tiger Lord: Murder, Disorder, and Franticness, which zeroed in on the underground universe of big-feline rearing. The show followed Joseph “Joe Extraordinary” Maldonado-Section, a reproducer and previous zoo proprietor who is presently in jail, and his long-lasting fight with Baskin — which in the end turned criminal.

After the series’ presentation, there was uncontrolled hypothesis that Baskin had been engaged with Lewis’ assumed demise when he disappeared six years after the couple’s wedding (he was pronounced dead in 2002). She has never been charged and has denied being engaged with his vanishing.
