One that is almost all artists. actress, musician, comedian, writer and anything else you want to add. This is Charlyne Yi.

The extremely versatile woman has come a long way and so has come. While her name might not be the first to pop up for many, as she’s not one to stick to one path, when it’s mentioned you just have to accept that she belongs.

Ranked next to Judd Apatow who was crowned Hollywood’s smartest person in Entertainment Weekly in 2007, Yi has remained unique not only in Hollywood, but also in the entertainment industry. Again, she is among those whose name should not be called. Or whose name is still hiding.

As an actress, composer, writer, producer, various film crew, it would be hard to find people who don’t know her. The only thing, however, is how far?

Charlyne Yi Bio / Age

Coming a little closer to her, Yi was born on January 4, 1986, in Los Angeles, California, to a Filipino mother and a father of Mexican, Korean, Irish, German, French, and Native American ancestry.

Coming from such a family, one of two things has to happen, it either gets really interesting or it gets messy. Revealing all of this herself, Yi noted that she came from “a pretty screwed up family.”

Probably because of the type of family she came from, Yi suffers from depression. Whenever she is depressed, her painterly side kicks in and she paints and draws. This is perhaps one of the things that led her to develop dioramas

Aged 31, Charlyne Yi started performing for a long time, she only started in the film industry in 2007 Knocked up. His real breakthrough, however, came in 2009 with the film Coeurs en papier.

That same year, she was selected as one of Venus Zine’s “25 Women Under 25”, a true testament to much to come many years later.

Apart from all that she has involved in and Paper Heart, she was also famous for Ring My Bell, Cloverfield, House and The Last Time You Had Fun. She is slated to appear in Next Gen (voice) in 2018.

With her hands on almost everything creative, you shouldn’t be surprised if tomorrow you wake up to hear that the actress is a carpenter. At least she warned us that “I want to do anything that challenges my soul, whether it’s music, acting, art, shoemaking, or carpentry.”

As a writer, Charlyne published a book. Oh the Moon in 2015. The book which has been described as filled with warmth, wonder and weirdness is more of an revelation from the actress about herself.

She was also a screenwriter. His first film in this field, his feature, Paper Heart, won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.

Charlyne Yi married, husband

Charlyne Yi has very few romantic stories and rumors that she is unmarried and never had a husband.

Not one known to have dated many men, the strongest Charlyne Yi dating rumor was with Michael Cera. Many of us actually believed that the two had something to do, because the story that united them lasted three years. Also, the comedy duo was really close.

Nonetheless, in 2009, the actress came out to quell the rumors by denying that she was ever dating Cera.

Besides Michael Cera, another person who has been linked to Yi is the American screenwriter; Jeremy Kaluza. Although the rumor has spread in some hidden quarters, it has nothing concrete. No one or at least the majority of people expected either of the two to come along and deny this information, because it was patently untrue. Neither did.

Net value

Yi has a net worth of up to $1 million. Although a majority of her wealth can be tied to her Hollywood pursuits, the other pursuits she finds herself in have also brought something into her pockets.
