Competition Commission approves Adani Power’s acquisition of Diliigent Power, DB Power

New Delhi, Sep 29 (IANS) The Opposition Commission of India (CCI) on Thursday supported securing of 100% offer capital of Diliigent Power Private Ltd and DB Power Private Ltd by Adani Power Ltd.
The proposed blend includes securing of 100% of the offer capital and financial freedoms of Diliigent Power and DB Power by Adani Power.
A public recorded organization consolidated in India with its portions recorded on BSE Ltd as well as the Public Stock Trade of India Ltd, Adani Power has eight functional power plants in India. It has power age limit of 13,650 mw containing nuclear energy stations in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh and a 40 mw sun based power project in Gujarat.
Diliigent Power is essentially participated in the exercises of a holding organization. It additionally gives project the executives and consultancy administrations to DB Power.
DB Power works a coal-based nuclear energy station with an introduced limit of 1,200 MW in Chhattisgarh.
