A Government High Court in Lagos has released and vindicated Olajide Kareem otherwise called Seun Egbegbe who is a Nollywood Movie producer and Maker.
On February 10, 2017, Seun Egbegbe was remanded in jail care for supposedly duping something like 40 Bureaux De Change administrators in Lagos somewhere in the range of 2015 and 2017. He was allegedly blamed for cheating the Bureaux De Change administrators by asserting he had Naira to trade for unfamiliar monetary standards as well as the other way around.

On Tuesday, October 11, 2022, Egbegbe was viewed as at fault for only one of the 44 counts charged against him and got a jail sentence of seven years with difficult work.
Justice Oluremi Oguntoyinbo, sitting at a Lagos Federal High Court, has convicted and sentenced Nollywood filmmaker and producer, Olajide Kareem, otherwise known as Seun Egbegbe, to seven years imprisonment ‘with hard labour’ for multimillion naira fraud.

The managing Judge, be that as it may, chose to deliver him as he had previously spent around five years and eight months in confinement and the detainment time in detainment has been surpassed.
