Cops shoot armed suspect in Queens after man points firearm while fleeing

A NYPD official shot and basically harmed a furnished suspect during “a rough battle” in Sovereigns on Thursday night, police and sources said.
The shooting unfurled after two men escaped from 439 Ocean side 56 Road in the Rockaways as a police sergeant and two officials from the 101st Region Neighborhood Security Group moved toward the entryway around 8 p.m., Head of Watch John M. Chell said at a public interview.
