Brooke gained a life sentence after he got arrested for the murder of his ex-lover, Brooke Morris. Although he kept on claiming innocent, Smoot got sentenced with no parole.

Brook died from a three-gun shot on her neck, chest, and back of her head. The killer who shot her to death was her obsessed ex-lover, who has been following her. 

Brooke losing her life has devasted her family. Morris’ family Jones previously stated that she couldn’t collect much from the murderer. Still and all, it’s not about the money, but the daughter that can’t get replaced. 

She also added that she would ensure that he would get deprived of his enjoyment in life. And will go to the grave with the judgment passed on.

Besides, it got known that Brooke was alive even after the two gunshots. And it was the third shot that killed her.

Is Shawn Smoot In Jail?

Shawn has spent his life in prison after getting convicted of the murder. The mother of his ex-lover sued Smoot for killing her daughter. 

He then faces a sentence with no parole. Moreover, Smoot claimed that; he has always been innocent of the murder case. 

As per Jones, Shawn didn’t have many assets. But, he did give the victim’s family $2 million for the damage caused. 

That being so, Smoot’s expected net worth is not available. Although, his wife might have inherited his property by now or so.
