Who is Timothy Eugene Moore from Dateline? He was one of the three who were apprehended in the murder of Egypt Jacquelyn Elizabeth Covington.

On June 22, 2017, Timothy along with his mates murdered Egypt. Reportedly, the incident took place in Van Buren Township in her duplex.

According to The Cinemaholic, the murderers had tied her hand with Christmas lights. Then, they shot her near her ear through a cushion.

Timothy Eugene Moore is recognized as a criminal. The story of how he murdered Egypt is featured in Dateline: The Wrong Door.

Although she passed away in 2017, Timothy and his gang members were arrested only in 2020. The others involved in the killing of Egypt are Shane Evans and Shandon Groom.

Reportedly, she used to work as an account manager and singer. Sadly, she had to lose her life for no specific reason.

The story begins with Timothy and his friends wanting to steal some weeds. Every July, Egypt and her neighbors used to attend the Electric Forest music festival.

However, she was quite busy which is why she didn’t attend the festival. One of her neighbors ran a legal marijuana business.

Well, Shane who worked in the yard in the neighborhood knew about the weed. So, he asked his friends, Timothy and Shandon to steal from that place.

To his surprise, the two run into the house of Egypt. Supposedly, Timothy and Shandon killed her when they encountered her.

Indeed, Timothy and Shandon were the prime suspects of Egypt’s murder. Reportedly, they are the only people whose cell phone was tracked at the same place and time when the incident happened.

Furthermore, Timothy had also stolen Egypt’s phone. Later, the authorities confirmed that her last call pinged was at the same place the three accused had been.

Apart from Timothy, Shandon, and Shane, the police had suspected Egypt’s boyfriend, Curtis Meadows. However, it was ‘too obvious’ that Curtis could never be the murderer.

Then, they also named her ex-boyfriend Kenny Michalak as a person of interest. However, the inquiries didn’t lead to an arrest.

The latest update on Egypt Covington’s murder came in March 2021. Reportedly, the judge confirmed that the three accused had to stand for a trial.

Well, the date for the trial is nearing. Reportedly, they will be in court next month, on November 17.
