Steve Kerr is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach of the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Kerr is an eight-time NBA champion, and won five titles as a player (three with the Chicago Bulls and two with the San Antonio Spurs) as well as three with the Warriors as a head coach.

Kerr is the only NBA player to win four straight NBA titles after 1969 and also has the highest career three-point field goal percentage (45.4%) in NBA history for any player with at least 250 three-pointers made.

Kerr also held the NBA record for the highest three-point percentage in a season at 52.4% until the record was broken by Kyle Korver in 2010.

Kerr is married to Margot Brennan, his college sweetheart and they have two sons; Nick and Matthew Kerr and a daughter, Madeleine Kerr.

Nick saw action in six games for the Toreros in 2014-15 and contributed 1.5 ppg.

Nick played in 20 games as a sophomore in 2013-14 and chipped in a career-high 12 points in a win at Pacific when he sank 4-of-6 three-pointers.

Nick redshirted in 2012-13 after a freshman year in which he appeared in 13 games and had a high of eight points in 11 minutes at UC Irvine.

Nick was selected to the NABC Honors Court, the WCC Commissioner’s Honor Roll and the 2013-14 West Coast Conference All-Academic team.

Nick went undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft.
