Myron Rolle wife Latoya Legrand Rolle is a Florida based Pediatric Dentist. Legrand is a Texas Southern University alumni.
Myron is a former football safety who played college football at Florida State. The former player was drafted in the 6th round of the NFL Draft 2010 by the Tennessee Titans.
Rolle put off his NFL career to complete a Rhodes Scholarship at Oxford University. He did a master’s degree in medical anthropology in 2017.
Besides his professional career, Myron is also a chairman and founder of the Myron L. Rolle Foundation.

Latoya’s Journey As A Dentist
Dr. Latoya shared her story in Melanin Doc, a non-profit organization whose bio says, “Using medicine to shine a light on one dimension of the infinite possibility of black excellence.”
She said that her journey into dental school was not textbook. Legrand added that she had applied twice and took the DAT twice with no acceptance into dental school.
She almost gave up but later decided to apply one more time. She spoke with her health advisor from college, and he told her to apply to a school outside her comfort zone.
After a month into a Master’s program, she received the call that changed her life and pushed her toward her career. She gave up a message regarding her journey that ‘never give up on your dreams’!
Myron Rolle Wedding and Kids
Myron Rolle had his wedding with Latoya on 7th December 2019.
The wedding images were taken by Orlando Wedding Photo & Video. After nine months of marriage, the couple was blessed with twins on August 2020.
Myron and Latoya welcomed twins, a son and a daughter named Zora and Zayed.
Legrand revealed her other baby twins on January 2022 on her birthday. She mentioned that she is going to be a mom of four in 2022.
The photographer, Reno Curling, clicked Latoya’s pregnancy photos on Exuma Island, Bahamas, Carribean.
Dr. Legrand said their babies already measured 3lbs before 12 weeks of birth. She added that the babies are growing healthy.
In April 2022, they welcomed two new little ones. Both babies weighted 6 lbs 6 oz at the time of birth.
Myron and Latoya named their twin babies, Zanzi and Zafar. With three sons and a daughter, the couple completed their family of six.
Latoya Support Myron To Wrote A Career Book
Myron credited his life partner for his book on Twitter about his career.
He wrote a book named ” The 2% Way: How a Philosophy of Small Improvements Took Me to Oxford, the NFL, and Neurosurgery”.
In the aspiring book, Dr. Rolle tells about his incredible journey and deep faith, revealing how a strong work ethic and the family values instilled by his Bahamian immigrant parents.
He always described himself as two men, a football player, and a scholar.

Myron Rolle was born to parents Whitney Rolle and Beverley Rolle in Houston, TX, on October 30, 1986.
Myron was grown up with his four brothers: Marchant, Marvis, Modecai, and McKinley.
Rolle is of Bahamian descent. His father, Whitney, established the Caribbean-American Football League in the Bahamas. Whitney also served as a vice president at Citibank.
Dr. Myron was interested in football from childhood as his paternal cousins Samari, Antrel, and Brian played in the National Football League.
Rolle was multi-talented as a saxophone player and singer at Peddle School in Highstown, NJ.
One of his brothers gave him a neurosurgeon Ben Carson’s book named “Gifted Hands.” Myron related Carson’s life with his life and found many similarities within.
The life-changing impact of his childhood made him a famous neurosurgeon.
Myron did a bachelor of science from Florida State University from 2008 to 2010. He played as a professional football player from April 2010 to September 2012.
Rolle continued his master’s of science at the University of Oxford in 2010. After completing his master’s, he did his MD from Florida State University College of Medicine from 2013 to 2017.
