Drita D’Avanzo (born Drita Selmani) is an American reality star on the VH1 series Mob Wives. She migrated with her family from Albania to Staten Island where she grew up. She spent her childhood training soccer because her father was a professional soccer coach and he wanted her to become a pro player. However, Drita decided not to follow her father’s footsteps even though she did receive an invitation to play for the Women’s National Soccer Team.
She continues to make regular appearances on TV.
She has two children, Gizelle and Aleeya, with her husband Lee D’Avanzo.
