A 5.4 extent seismic tremor shook the Kenai Promontory and different pieces of Southcentral Gold country early Sunday morning.
A 5.4 extent seismic tremor shook the Kenai Promontory and different pieces of Southcentral Gold country early Sunday morning.
The effect of the quakes was focused around 13 miles west of Homer, as per the U.S. Land Overview. The seismic tremor occurred at 7:06 am in the waters close where Cook Gulf and Kachemak Sound meet.

As per the Gold country Quake Center, it happened at a profundity of 40.6 miles and was felt broadly all through the Kenai and as distant as Jetty and the Mat-Su.
The Public Tidal wave Cautioning Center expressed that no torrent was normal.
