EC officials to review assembly polls’ preparation in Gujarat

Gandhinagar, Sep 16 (IANS) Senior authorities of the Political race Commission (EC) will be on a two-day visit to Gujarat from Saturday considering the state gathering decisions to be held in December.

Authorities from the Boss Electing Official let IANS know that senior officials will show up on Saturday and will meet area gatherers and cops to audit and talk about arrangements for the surveys.

Delicate stalls, police arrangement and prerequisite of extra power to keep up with the rule of law during decisions are different issues that would be examined during the visit.

The state government on Friday moved Gandhinagar region gatherer Kuldeep Arya and delegated him as Extra Boss Discretionary Official of the state.

The gathering decisions on 182 seats are planned for December.

In 2017, there were 4.35 crore enlisted citizens, out of which three crore electors had practiced their establishment.
