Fikayo Tomori Aka Oluwafikayomi Oluwadamilola “Fikayo” Tomori has suprised the people after speaking a fluent Italian in his post match interview. As per news sources, many English players have had difficulty learning another language after playing for clubs in various international leagues.

However, it seems Tomori is already getting a grip of it which has shocked and impressed many. He had been in the country for 13 months only.

The curiosity regarding his religion sparked after he shocked everyone with his fluency in the Italian language in a recent interview. 

His background also signifies that he was raised in a diverse culture. He was born to Nigerian parents in Canada. But his parents moved to England before he was one year old. 

He went to Gravesend Grammar School in Kent from 2009 until 2014. He chose to leave Gravesend to attend Chelsea full-time when he was 16.

During an interview, he shared that his father is a big football fan and an analyst. His dad was the one who persuaded him to play his natural center-back position rather than the midfielder one that piqued his interest at the time.

Therefore, he credits his dad for his help and hard work for investing in his football career ever since he was a young boy.
