Chris Kamara is a known English former professional footballer who grew up with his siblings George and Maria Kamara.
The former athlete is also a manager and has worked as a presenter and football analyst at Sky Sports from 1992 until 2022. Chris is known as a tough-tackling midfielder as a player. At the age of 16, he joined the Royal Navy.
Later in November 1974, he signed to Portsmouth. After spending three years at the club, Chris was sold to Swindon Town for £ 14,000. The athlete returned to Portsmouth in 1981 for a £50,000 fee.
The same year in October, Chirs was transferred to Brentford, where he spent four years before leaving the club after finishing a runners-up medal in the Football League Trophy in 1985.

George Kamara is best known for being the brother of former professional football player Chris Kamara.
Although acquainted with a renowned personality, George prefers avoiding the spotlight. He was born to his father, Albert Kamara, and mother, Irena Kamara. He was not the couple’s only child and was raised alongside his siblings.
His brother, Chris, is a well-known English former professional football athlete. He also has a loving sister, the only daughter of Albert and Irena, Maria Kamara. George’s father was eligible to play for Sierra Leone.
Albert was called to play in the 1994 African Cup of Nations; however, he declined the offer. George’s father was a heavy gambler, leaving his mom to sometimes plead for money from neighbors to provide food for the children.
Being among the few black families in Park End, Middlesbrough, the Kamara family suffered racist abuse. The family managed to rise despite the abuse. George and his siblings chose their respective streams and worked hard to pursue their dreams.

Maria Kamara is the only sister of footballer Chris Kamara and his brother, George Kamara.
Kamara was born and brought up by her parents, Albert Kamara and Irene Kamara, in Middlesbrough, North Riding of Yorkshire. Maria shares a strong bonding with her brothers, Chris and George.
Like George, nothing much about Maria is known. Unlike former footballer and their brother, Chris, both prefer to keep their details under the curtains. The athlete respects their privacy and does not usually mention bout his family publicly.
Maria’s brother Chris is a great friend of Middlesbrough chairman Steve Gibson. Both grew up on the Park End council estate and regularly attended matches together. At 16, he joined the Royal Navy at the insistence of his father, who was also a former naval mariner.
Joining Royal Navy, Chris missed the youth cup final for Middlesbrough Boys; however, he went on to compete for the Royal Navy’s football team. The athlete was trained at HMS Raleigh at Torpoint and transferred to HMS Vernon.

George Kamara has not shared his age; however, his brother, Chirs, was born on December 25, 1957, and is 64 years old.
In 1988, Chris moved on to Stoke City, and a remarkable spell with the club won him a move to Leeds United in 1990. The athlete helped the club to the Second Division title in 1989-1990.
He missed eight months following his injuries and later was sold to Luton Town for £150,000 in 1991. In 1994, Chris joined Bradford City as a player-coach. In November 1995, he was hired as Bradford City manager.
Chris took the club from a relegation scrap to promotion out of the Second Division by the play-offs in 1996. The footballer left the club in early 1998 and took the reins at Stoke City.
