The Oleksiak family will never forget this summer.

At age 21, Penny Oleksiak shares the distinction of being the most decorated Canadian athlete at the Summer Olympics and is now dominating the Olympics.

Then there is Jamie Oleksiak, who became one of the faces of the Seattle Kraken franchise after agreeing to a five-year, $25 million contract.

There are five kids in the Oleksiak family: Jamie, Penny, Jacob, Hayley, and Jake.

In her home Canada, Penny Oleksiak is well-known. Despite being only 21 years old, she is the nation’s most decorated Olympian with seven swimming medals.

Hayley, the middle sister, is currently 26 years old and competed in figure skating while rowing for Northeastern University.

Jake, their 44-year-old half-brother from their father’s first marriage, had been signed up to play NCAA Division I hockey at Clarkson University before suffering an injury.

And Claire, a 39-year-old half-sister, skied competitively.
