Jaymon was born on March 6, 1978 in Bunbury, Australia. He is the brother of Jaxon Crabb, who played for the West Coast Eagles and Port Adelaide in the Australian Football League.
Jaymon Crabb started playing tennis at the age of 10.
He turned professional in 1996 and spent his early years as a professional touring Europe and America competing for Grand Slams and playing club tennis in America.
Crabb has a career-high singles ranking of 181 on the ATP Tour and doubles 146 on the ATP Tour in 2003. He retired as a tennis player in 2006.
He has worked as a Professional Tennis Coach and Manager in America since 2005.
Jaymon has particular expertise in the use of video analysis to develop coaching strategies and is an expert user of Dartfish. He uses the software to analyze both his player’s games and opponent’s games where he can tag play, compare play and identify trends in points and errors.
In 2011, Jaymon joined Team Hewitt as Lleyton Hewitt’s Touring Coach and worked with Lleyton till his retirement in early 2016.
Jaymon Crabb has been working as Touring Coach for Tennis Australia in Sydney, New South Wales since 2018.
He has also served as a coach for Jordan Thomson since 2018.
Jaymon Crabb is married to former professional tennis player Bryanne Stewart.
He currently resides in the Northern Beaches of Sydney.
