Jordan Mattingly Arrested For DUI: Son Of Don Mattingly
After reportedly crashing his SUV and then attempting to sell it to a dealership, the son of an MLB manager Jordan Mattingly was arrested for drunk driving.
When Jordon Mattingly, 30, was stopped in Evansville, Indiana, police claimed he was more than three times above the legal drink-driving limit.
Mr. Mattingly is the son of Evansville native and Miami Marlins manager Don Mattingly.
Officers were dispatched after receiving five 911 calls from motorists who reported seeing an SUV collided with the road’s median, causing a tire to blow out and the vehicle to catch fire.
According to authorities, the driver continued on his way and finally stopped at a car dealership, where he attempted to sell the damaged vehicle.
According to officers, Jordon Mattingly exhibited soreness and scratches consistent with being in a car accident.
They also said the suspect smelled like he had been drinking and nearly fell several times during the stop.

Jordan Mattingly, Don Mattingly’s son, has been charged with driving while intoxicated, one count of public intoxication, and refusing to submit to a chemical test.
As a result, the details of his charges and mugshot have yet to be released.
Mattingly was taken to Deaconess Midtown Hospital for treatment, where he allegedly refused a blood-chemical test before being lodged into the Vanderburgh County Jail on Monday night.
He’s being detained without bond right now.
