Lalu Alex opens up losing his 10-month-old daughter in his latest interview. If she were here today, she would have been 30 years old now, but he overcame it; as the star says, all the pain he went through came as a blessing to him.

Lalu Alex is an Indian film actress working in Malayalam cinema. In a career spanning forty years, he has acted in more than 250 films and is known for his acting roles, comedy roles, and controversial roles in the Malayalam film industry.

Alex began his acting career as a supporting actor in the movie Ee Ganam Marakkumo in 1978 and was associated with notable films in his previous work starring Idi Muzhakkam, Nayattu, Meen, Thushaaram, and Thrishna and he has also acted in three Tamil movies.

Lalu Alex remembers his 10-month-old daughter in his recent interview. He was born the second of Chandy and Annamma in Piravom, Muvattupuzha Taluk.

Alex has an elder brother named Roy and a younger sister named Laila. Director Joshiy has given him roles in films such as Aa Ratri, Bhokambamm, Alakadalin Akkare, Minimol Vathikanil, Muhurtham 11.30 and Nair Saab.

Lalu has worked with directors such as K. Madhu of Moonam Mura, Adikkurippu, Orukam, Chathurangam. He also worked with Sathyan Anthikkad at Kalikkalam Oral Mathram and Kamal at Manjupole Oru Penkutty and Niram. In the 1990s, Lalu turned his role to comedy.

Alex’s use of humor, dialogue, delivery, and work ethic has made him an outstanding figure in the industry. He and actor Kunchako Boban often appear in films together.

He has appeared in I.V.Sasi’s Ee Nadu, playing the role of SP Alexander. He then starred in films such as I.V. Sasi’s Kanamarayath, Alkootathil Thaniye, John Jaffer Janardhanan, Mrugaya, Balachandra Menon’s Karyam Nissaram, as well as Prasnam Gurutharam.

Lalu Alex has been married to Betty since 1986 and they have three children named Ben Lalu Alex, Sen Lalu Alex, and Ciya Lalu Alex.

Lalu has been in the film industry for more than 40 years. His son Ben Lalu Alex has tied the knot to Meenu Cyril as the marriage ceremony was at Holy Kings Knanaya Church, Piravom in Kerala.

Lalu says his wife Betty fully supported him during the difficult life as he usually has no film. The Malayalam cinema will tell him to stay home for a while as he will listen to them and obey them.

Lalu Alex didn’t disclose his daughter named who passed away after ten months of her birth. “The days when you live at home without film are challenging. I feel bad when I think about the pain in life”, he says.

Alex had knocked on many doors, looking for opportunities. After all, he received those hard work and effort five or ten times as much as he had dreamed of.

He felt that he had to leave the film at some point in his career. “In the early days of filming a movie, the scenes of the leading stars must be finished quickly as they’re busy, and our scene will come; until then, it’ll be sunny and rainy as makeup is nothing like today,” says Lalu.
