The notorious Benadryl murder case of Larry Isenberg is getting featured on Dateline this season. Here is what you need to know about the case

Larry Isenberg was the victim of a murder spree by his wife Lori Isenberg.

Larry was murdered on 13th February 2018 in a boat on Lake Coeur d’Alene early in the morning. The autopsy report showed that Larry died from an overdose of a drug called diphenhydramine mostly found in Benadryl.

Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine drug that is used as a sleeping pill. The safe does if from 100nanogram to 1000 nanograms. Isenberg was reported to have 7,100 nanograms of diphenhydramine.

Lori was also arrested before for multiple frauds worth half a million and so on.

Lori Isenberg said that the actual plan was to kill herself not Larry Isenberg, her husband.

She said that she mixed the drug in her drink for herself but instead Larry drank the beverage without her knowledge. Lori opened up her reason for being suicidal was due to a heavy amount of family issues.

To contradict this, Larry’s son Dean Isenberg. He said that they had an excellent type of relationship and believed they were soulmates. This establishment was also supported by a friend of Larry, Andrew Kern that Larry trusted his wife with all his heart.

So the family problems that Lori claimed to have were dismissed. After her husband died, she said that she will soon him but could not now in order not to exacerbate their house condition.

Where Is Lori Isenberg Now? Update

Lori Isenberg is sent to prison for 30 years. She pleaded guilty in court and was sentenced by Scott Wayman, Judge in the District Court.

So, she is in prison as of now. As she was already in her mid-60s, many suggest that she won’t live to 30 years when she could finally meet her.

Lori Isenberg could appear in the new episode of Dateline where they investigate in deep about many interesting murder cases. Besides murder, she was also found guilty of fraud of  $2 million and $500,000 in cash for personal use.
