Le’andria was exposed to music at a very tender age. Already at the age of two, She had begun singing in her father’s church, HQ Ministries in Altamonte Springs, Florida. However, it wasn’t until she was a teenager that she realized she could make a living out of her singing talent. Ms.Johnson went on to become the praise and worship leader within the church.
This made room for her to nurture her music talent. Le’andria became a performer, producer, singer, and songwriter as a result of hard work and dedication. Her big break came at age seventeen when she sang in front of an audience of 8,000 at Pastor Shirley Caesar’s annual conference. The gospel star recalls this as her first big platform.
When an opportunity presented itself at BET’s Sunday Best show, Le’andria pushed by her friend auditioned to be part of the show and luckily she got admitted. Afterward, her career in music has never remained the same, today she is one of the most popular gospel artists in the US.
