Maxwell Jenkins is an American actor best known for his appearance in Betrayal and Sense8, in A Family Man, and in Lost in Space, the Netflix remake of the 1965 TV series.

At the tender age of three, he made his performing debut as an acrobat, doing handstands on his father’s hands in the theatrical circus company of his family, Midnight Circus. His natural stage presence shines on camera where he brings a deep sensitivity to his roles.

Maxwell’s acting adventures began as a regular series on ABC’s Deception at age eight. He followed up with recurring roles on the SENSE8 Netflix show, the Chicago Fire of NBC and a guest-starring role on NCIS: NewOrleans. Maxwell has also appeared in THE HEADHUNTER ‘S CALLING alongside Gerard Butler, who debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2016. Other film credits include POPSTAR, directed by Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer.

In addition to his success on stage, Maxwell, along with his sister Samantha, Mom, Dad, his two rescued Pit Bulls, and a dozen world-class acrobats, toured Chicago each year in an intimate big top, playing community parks from the south side to the north side and all points in between. The series brings together groups while raising funds to restore local parks. In 2014, when they made history as the first and only American troupe ever to be included at the prestigious Montreal Circus Festival, Maxwell was part of that troupe.

He was cast as Will Robinson, the youngest child in the Robinson Family in Netflix’s 2018 American science fiction television series Lost in Space. Will forms a special connection with the Robot.
