Nyheim Hines is an American football running back and punt returner who plays for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL).

Born on November 12, 1996, in North Carolina, Hines played football at Garner Magnet High School in Garner, North Carolina, before proceeding to NC state for his collegiate career.

As an high school student, Hines recorded 6,242 rushing yards, 7,299 total yards, and 126 touchdowns.

During one of those matches with the Trojans, he scored seven touchdowns two times in a single game.

During his collegiate career, he played under head coach Dave Doeren.

As a junior, he rushed for 1,112 yards on 197 carries with 12 touchdowns, completing his  career with 1,400 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns.

In 2018, the Indianapolis Colts drafted him as 104th pick in the 4th round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

In 2021, Hines’ contract with the Colts was extended for another three years. The contract was worth $18.6 million.
