From Reddit, we learned that Najib left his home with nothing but the clothes on his back. And it is believed that he was lured into leaving his home. 

With the help of the FBI, Scottsdale PD, and Anti Predator Project, and cooperation from family, the case has been finally solved but the results turned out to be an unfortunate one.

 This day was always the happiest day of the year for the Monsif family for the past 20 years. The Scottsdale police informed us that Jubi’s remains were found in the canal. Our angel was only 20 years old. Thank you for your love” -Najib Monsif Sr.

As shared by Najib’s sister Josie Monsif via her Facebook, her father even issued a reward of $100,000 for Jubi’s safe return. For finding Najib Jubi Monsif, even the Go Fund Me fundraising campaign has been created which raised $21,510 at the time of this post.
