Adam Lanza, a 20-year-old male, killed 26 people. Twenty of the victims were children aged six to seven, and six were adult staff members. He shot and killed his mother at their Newtown home earlier that day before heading to the school.

Later, Adam committed suicide by shooting himself in the head.

Sandy Hook Parent Suicide: Jeremy Richman Killed Himself In 2019

A 6-year-old, Avielle Richman, was killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre in Newtown in December 2012. She was the only child of Jeremy Richman and his wife, Jennifer Hensel.

In 2019, her father, Jeremy, could no longer bear the loss of his only daughter and ended his own life. He was discovered dead in the early hours of March 25, not far from his office.

According to his wife, Jeremy “succumbed to the grief that he could not escape.”

After the death of his daughter, he co-founded The Avielle Foundation, a nonprofit organization that focuses on violence prevention via research and community participation.

Jeremy was a neuroscientist who graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in molecular and cellular biology and a Ph.D. in pharmacology and toxicology.

He spent several years with the pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim, where his main responsibility was to assist in the development of medications to treat depression and Alzheimer’s disease.

He was also a lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale University’s School of Medicine.

Who Is Alex Jones And What Did He Say About Sandy Hook Shooting?

Alex Jones is a conspiracy theorist and television personality best known for his show “The Alex Jones Show.”

Jones has advocated conspiracy theories stating that the US government withheld or overtly falsified facts about the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, the September 11 attacks, the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, and the 1969 Moon landing.

Six families of Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims and an FBI agent who reacted to the assault filed a defamation action against Alex Jones in March 2018, alleging that he circulated false accusations, causing survivors to be harassed, stalked, and threatened.

Jones’s lawyers reportedly offered each 13 plaintiffs $120,000 to settle the case. However, the plaintiffs have refused the compensation offered by Alex Jones.

Alex stated numerous times that the shooting and “everything about it” was a hoax.

Sandy Hook Shooting Reddit Hoax

On Reddit and other sites, Alex Jones’ followers have harassed and threatened the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting families.

The plaintiffs are in a lot of difficulties due to his show, “The Alex Jones Show,” which propagated the hoax conspiracy.

One of the victims of the false conspiracy hypothesis is Leonard Pozner. His son, Noah Pozner, died in the shooting.

Leonard had to relocate multiple times to avoid harassment and death threats from Jones’ supporters.
