Simone Marstiller is an American former judge on the First District Court of Appeal in Florida.
Early life and education
Marstiller was born in Monrovia, Liberia, and grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida. She holds a bachelor of business administration degree from Stetson University and a J.D. from the Stetson College of Law.
Career
Simone Marstiller was a judge on the First District Court of Appeal in Florida. She was appointed to this position by Governor Charlie Crist on January 27, 2010, to fill the vacancy created by Judge Edward Barfield’s retirement. She was retained by voters in 2012.
On October 20, 2015, Marstiller announced she was leaving the court, retiring in December 2015.
