TN activists wants PETA to apologise on false campaign against ill-treatment of elephant

Chennai, Sep 8 (IANS) Animal privileges activists in Tamil Nadu have erupted against PETA India for spreading bogus data on the evil treatment of a hostage elephant.
Poovulagin Nanbargal, a NGO, said that PETA India had been spreading bogus data that Jayamalyatha, an elephant with the Srivilliputhur sanctuary, was abused.

The NGO said that an old video was being flowed via web-based entertainment stages with malignant interests, adding that PETA India wa engaged with the dissemination.

PETA India had shared a post on Twitter that the elephant was overall abused in the sanctuary prompting huge shock, including from Bollywood big names.

The dissenters requested that the individuals who have abused the elephant be brought under the steady gaze of the rule that everyone must follow and guarantee that severe move is made against them.
