In 2021, The Baltimore Orioles that a July 24th postgame concert by Diplo has been cancelled amid allegations of sexual assault.
Diplo also won a ruling in a case against a woman he says harassed him after a sexual relationship that ended in 2020. Diplo is the father of three children, Lockett Pentz, Pace Pentz and Lazer Pentz.
Diplo graduated from Hendersonville High School in Hendersonville, Tennessee and then began attending the University of Central Florida in 1997.
Diplo has performed on The Tonight Show, Good Morning America, the iHeart Radio Music Festival, The NRJ Music Awards, the 2015 Latin Grammy Awards and the 2016 Grammy Awards.
Diplo and fellow DJ Low Budget under the “Hooked on Hollertronix moniker” released the mixtape, Never Scared, which was named one of The New York Times’ top ten albums of 2003.
