American actress Ally Sheedy is still active in the entertainment industry as an actress and writer. She was a prominent figure in the 1980s, starring in films like “The Breakfast Club,” “St. Elmo’s Fire,” and “WarGames.”
After taking a break from acting in the 1990s, Sheedy returned to the screen in the 2000s with roles in movies such as “High Art,” “Life During Wartime,” and “Little Sister.” She has also appeared in television shows such as “Psych” and “Kyle XY.”
In addition to her acting career, Sheedy has also pursued writing and has authored two books: a collection of poems titled “Yesterday I Saw the Sun: Poems” and a young adult novel titled “She Was Nice to Mice.” She has also written for various publications, including The New York Times and The Advocate.
While Sheedy may not have achieved the same level of fame as she did in the 1980s, she has continued to have a successful career in the entertainment industry and remains active to this day.
