What happened to Karon Blake? DC police deny ‘race’ rumors surrounding Washington teen’s death

On Saturday, January 7, 13-year-old Karon Blake was shot dead in the northeastern piece of Washington. In the midst of serious reports about the shooting, on Tuesday, January 10, Boss Robert Contee endeavored to dissipate a portion of the “presumptions” in regards to the case.

Representing the initial time about the shooting of Karon Blake, which occurred over the course of the end of the week, the police boss said,

“There’s been an excessive amount of falsehood twirling around this occurrence, such a large number of individuals have made presumptions about this case, and it is unjustifiable to the lamenting family. Police have would not unveil specific data to the general population, including how frequently Blake was shot or precisely where.

Proof accumulated will be introduced to a terrific jury, which will then settle on the charges, if any. Sean Long, who distinguished himself as Karon Blake’s granddad, told Fox 5 DC:

“It’s simply miserable. It don’t have neither rhyme nor reason. Kids – I realize kids around here wild’n out. They killing one another, dark on dark wrongdoing, however getting into a vehicle or removing somebody from an individual’s vehicle, you don’t have the right to wind up dead.”
