She directed “The Fence,” which premiered on the first night of the 2010 Sundance Film Festival.

Rory created and filmed “Ethel,” a documentary about her mother, in 2011.

“Last Days in Vietnam” was directed by Kennedy and co-produced with Keven McAlester. The documentary film premiered in January 2014 at the Sundance Film Festival. The film was nominated for Best Documentary Feature at the 87th Academy Awards.
