MatPat, real name Mathew Robert Patrick, is a popular YouTuber, content creator, actor, and social media figure.
He attended Medina High School, the neighborhood high school in Medina, and graduated as valedictorian. Growing up, MatPat was an outgoing adolescent. He was a fun-loving person who cherished his time with his classmates.
Computers, the visual arts, and musical theater are some of his passions. He was accepted into Duke University in Durham, North Carolina as part of a scholarship program, where he studied theater and psychology.
He originally posted the Game Theory clip for promotion on YouTube. After that, he published his first episode, detailing the veracity of Chrono Trigger’s time-traveling mechanic in terms of science and technology for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES).

He obtained an academic scholarship to Duke University after becoming the valedictorian of his high school and graduated in 2009 with a double degree in theater and neuroscience.
