Aaliyah Ivory is a woman from Chicago who is in the hospital after being shot six times on I-57.

As reported by Illinois State Police, they were called to a road rage shooting on I-57 near Vollmer Road in Matteson.

When police showed up, they discovered Ivory with life-threatening injuries. Per her, she drove northbound on Saturday when a construction zone forced drivers to merge into a single lane.

Ivory stated that a driver cut her off, she then cut him off, and he used a racial slur. She admits to responding with a curse word, then the next thing she heard were gunshots. So far, Illinois State Police have not filed any charges.

Aaliyah Ivory is an Illinois-based 24 years old woman who is the victim of the Chicago I-57 road rage shooting. Ivory was driving to her house in Matteson city last night.

A white man became enraged as Aaliyah was driving down Interstate 57. Later, the man chased after her car and shot it multiple times.

She was driving the vehicle, and the man chased her down. The man then began to shoot, and Aaliyah was injured. Ivory eventually ended up in a hospital with shot six times. As a result, the police arrested the man.

Aaliyah’s sister then took to Facebook to share this story. She posted that the victim was shot six times on her way home in Matteson, Illinois. An angry white man shot Aaliyah Ivory, a victim of road rage.

Following the shooting, the police arrested the white man, but he did not stay in jail for long. Police believe the man was afraid for his life.

Aaliyah Ivory Family

Aaliyah Ivory’s family is upset and wants charges against the man. A detective allegedly informed the man’s family that he expressed fear for his life before being freed from custody.

Kimberly, Ivory’s sister, claimed that although she lacked a concealed carry permit, she never touched her weapon.

Moreover, doctors have warned the Ivory family that she will have a complicated recovery process while they wait for the investigation results. Aaliyah has a bullet lodged in her spine and other severe injuries throughout her body.

Her sister said she would need surgery on her hand because she threw her hand up to block the bullet. She went on to say that it shattered her hands like 30 bones.

Aaliya also spoke with Fox 32 Chicago from her hospital bed. She claims she doesn’t know when she’ll be able to walk again and that the shooting resulted from road rage.

The investigation is still ongoing, according to Illinois State Police.
