Galloway has run for 1,084 yards and 25 total touchdowns this season.

Galloway rushed for 245 yards and four touchdowns in last week’s first-round playoff victory over Carolina Forest. On Friday, Chapin will compete in the second round at Fort Dorchester.

S.C. Running Back Arrested For Minor Molestation 

According to court documents, he committed to play for N.C. State and is accused of criminal sexual activity with a child.

David Bennett Galloway III, 18, was charged by the Richland Country Sheriff’s Department with second-degree criminal sexual behavior with a juvenile aged 11 to 14.

On June 2, Galloway, a caption High School running back, committed to play at North Carolina State.

Galloway was arrested and booked into the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center on Thursday. He remained in custody as of Thursday morning, pending a bail hearing.

The circumstances of the charge are unclear, but the State has requested police files that might shed light on Galloway’s assertions.
