A suspect in the disappearance of Madelyn “Maddie” Allen has been caught, according to Snow College Police Chief Derek Walk.

According to Derek Walk, Allen was located Saturday at a property in Wayne County where 39-year-old Brent Neil Brown lived.

Allen told police that Brown raped her and attacked her in other ways numerous times a day. She allegedly told police that she was being held and terrified of what he might do to her family.

Brown is presently being held in a Utah prison.

Before she discovered it, Madelyn’s family and friends planned two simultaneous vigils for Sunday at 6 p.m. The first will occur at Snow College’s Noyes Building, while the second will be at Angel Street Park in Kaysville (her hometown).
