Darragh Lyons is a teenager arrested over assault on December 30, 2021. He along with his friend had attacked a 17-year-old girl in west Dublin.

Who Is Darragh Lyons Ballyfermot?

Darragh Lyons is an 18 years old teenager from Weir View, Dublin. He is not working and was granted free legal aid.

Meanwhile, his partner Jack Cummins works at a tire company. Both the teenagers have no convictions in past.

Lyons had brutally attacked a teenage girl and her companion on December 30, 2021. He was held on Thursday, Jan 6, 2021.

Meanwhile, police have not released details about Lyons’ parents. Nor, we are able to discover him on social media platforms.

Darragh Lyons and his friend Jack Cummins appeared in the Dublin court on Jan 7, 2021.

They have been granted bail, however with the strict conditions. They were remanded an amount of €200 and will reappear on April 1, 2022.

They had reportedly attacked a 17-year-old girl and her male friend. Both are seriously injured from the incident that happened last week.

The female victim is named Alanna Quinn Idris. A photo of her clearly shows, she has a serious facial injury after a ruptured eyeball.

The medical report also shows that Idris has fractures to her cheek and broken teeth.

The picture was posted by Alanna’s father Ahmed Idris, a famous DJ at Spin 1038.

On Twitter, he wrote: “My daughter was viciously assaulted by 3 men. 30/12. 10 pm CivicCenter.”

He further mentioned: “She suffered broken bones & lost of sight She is going thru multiple surgeries. Pls pray for her”

On the other hand, the male victim has stab wounds and has been discharged to the hospital. His names and addresses have not been released.

Meanwhile, an online fundraising campaign was established to support the victims. It has raised over €80,000.

Darragh Lyons and Jack Cummins have been arrested at the Garda Stations in West County Dublin.

Garda Síochána has questioned the teenagers separately. Still, the search is going on to discover the third attacker.

Furthermore, the two boys are reported that they must observe a curfew.

Meanwhile, Gardai are still doing searches and arrested the two defendants on Thursday.
