An American actress, fashion designer, model, businesswoman, and former first lady of the Turks and Caicos Islands, LisaRaye McCoy, also known as LisaRaye, was born on September 23, 1967.
The roles of Diana “Diamond” Armstrong in the 1998 film The Players Club, Neesee James on the UPN/The CW sitcom All of Us from 2003 to 2007, and Keisha Greene in the VH1 romantic comedy Single Women, which was first shown in 2011 to 2015, are those for which McCoy is best remembered.
From 2006 to 2010, she was also wed to Michael Misick, the first premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands, and during that period she served as the country’s first lady.
In the independent film Reasons, led by Monty Ross, McCoy made her acting debut.
Perhaps McCoy’s most well-known performance was as Diamond in Ice Cube’s directed and produced film The Players Club.
