In The Remainder of Us episode 6, there is a scene where Joel and Ellie are exploring the great outdoors while heading to Wyoming. The team are shown talking about what they would do once the end times reaches a conclusion.

Joel uncovers that he might want to claim a farm, have a lot of sheep, and be a farmer since sheep are calm and do everything they are said to do, in contrast to Ellie. Ellie faculties his mockery and lets him know what she believes that should do after the world is relieved.

Born on May 26, 1951, Sally Ride was a space traveler and physicist from the USA. She was born in LA, California, and joined NASA in 1978. In 1983, Sally Ride turned into the main American lady and the third lady to fly in space, after cosmonauts Valentina Tereshkova in 1963 and Svetlana Savitskaya in 1982, who were both Russian.

Sally Ride was an alum of Stanford College, where she procured various degrees. These elaborate a Four year certification in scientific studies certification in physical science and a Four year certification in liberal arts degree in English writing in 1973, an Expert of Science certificate in physical science in 1975, and a Specialist of Reasoning in physical science in 1978 for research on the connection of X-beams with the interstellar medium.

In June 1983, she flew into space on the Space Transport Challenger on the STS-7 mission. Two correspondence satellites were sent in the mission alongside the primary Transport bed satellite (SPAS-1). She worked the automated arm to send and bring back the SPAS-1. In 1984, she went to space for the subsequent time. She spent a sum of over 343 hours in space.

Subsequent to leaving NASA in 1987, Sally Ride labored for a considerable length of time at Stanford College’s Middle for Global Security and Arms Control, then at the College of California, San Diego.
