Sylvia Cabrera is best known for being the ex-wife of Angel Cabrera. Her ex-husband is an Argentine professional golf player who has played both the European Tour and PGA Tour. Known as El Pato, her husband has won two major championships – U.S. Open (2007) and Masters (2009).

In July 2021, her ex-husband was sentenced to two years in prison on assault charges against his former partner between 2016-18, Cecilia Torres Mana. Further, he was arrested by Interpol agents in Rio de Janeiro earlier in January.

Her age is 63 years. Apparently, she is 12 years older than her ex-husband, who was born on 12 September 1969. Further, her ex-husband, raised by his grandmother, moved in with her when he was 16.

Although their marriage wasn’t formally confirmed, the two separated in 2009 after spending 20 long years together. 

Sylvia is said to have filed two charges against Angel for minor assault and threat in 2017 and minor assault and theft in 2018.

Apparently, she gave birth to their first child Federico Cabrera just months after her then-husband moved in with her. And two years after that, on 10 March 1991, she gave birth to another son Angel F Cabrera, Jr. Further, she had 4 children from her previous relationship.

In 2009, a call about a domestic dispute led police to come to her home but, no arrests were made. However, two of her sons from a previous relationship were arrested for alleged robbery.
