Wallace Jeffs is the son of Rulon Jeffs and a half-brother of Warren Jeffs, who was the President of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS Church). The FLDS is a church whose members practice polygamy that emerged back in the 20th century.

He was the 30th child out of 60 children of Rulon. After their father’s death in 2002, Wallace’s brother Warren held the position of counselor at the church. It is claimed that Warren also had 83 wives.

Wallace was the first member of the family who came out with the details of his family life and life inside the church in his memoir, ” Destroying Their God: How I Fought My Evil Half-brother to Save My Children”.

He also hoped that through telling his tale, his children would have a better understanding of what it was like to grow up in the FLDS. “I’m simply trying to set an example for them that the way we were living was incorrect,” Wallace continued. We may live good lives without being oppressed.”
